Through the CorpNet API, your application can offer customers three product lines: business formation (LLCs, corporations, EINs, registered agent service, DBAs, business licenses, annual reports, and other entity-lifecycle filings), employer tax registration (state unemployment insurance, withholding, and combined registrations), and ongoing compliance management (entity tracking, compliance alerts, Registered Agent subscriptions). Coverage spans all 50 U.S. states. All three products share a single Bearer-token authentication — see Authorization — and product entitlement follows your partner agreement.

What business-formation services can I offer?

Form LLCs, corporations, and other entity types in any state via the Business Formation API. Available products include:

  • Entity formation (LLC, C-Corp, S-Corp, Non-Profit, Professional Corporation)
  • Federal Tax ID Number (EIN) acquisition
  • Registered Agent service
  • DBA / Fictitious Business Name filings
  • Business Licenses & Permits

What employer tax-registration services can I offer?

Register employers for state and federal tax accounts across all 50 U.S. states via the Tax Registration API:

  • State Unemployment Insurance (SUI)
  • State Withholding Tax
  • Combined SUI + Withholding (where the state offers a single registration)
  • State-specific registration variants for jurisdictions with non-standard tax structures

Through the Compliance API your application can manage ongoing corporate compliance for business entities — alerts, subscription plans, and company registrations — without manual portal entry. Available capabilities include:

  • Compliance alerts for Annual Reports, Registered Agent renewals, BOI reports, and other state-mandated filings — surfaced as upcoming opportunities with prefilled form data
  • Submission of completed compliance form data on behalf of customers, with downstream writeback to entity records
  • Registered Agent subscription management — list, cancel (with replacement-proof workflow), and renew across all 50 states
  • Bulk company onboarding (~200 entities per request) for partners migrating existing books of business into CorpNet's compliance system
  • Per-company compliance overview surfacing alerts, orders, registered agents, locations, members, and tax registrations in a single call
